Short: Stanford University .gif collection for www pages.

Long: This is a large collection of small .gif files intended for use in www
      pages.  The collection was brought together at Stanford University and
      is supplied with web pages to view them.  The original names, however
      were too long for an archimedes to view, ands there are more then 77.
      So I have `massaged' the files so that they can be viewed with ArcWeb,
      Webster, et al.
